Grevog the Punisher:

Upon pull the raid will get the un-curable “Punishing Impatience” detriment, it pulses noxious damage depending on how much damage he’s taking. This means you have to balance your DPS output against your potential HPS output. This can make the fight more of a slow-burn instead of a race.Punishing Impatience

If anyone dies (for whatever reason) Grevog will gain an increment of “Consumed Brains” which increases his melee autoattack.. this is supposed to reset after 60 seconds unless more than one person dies in which case the counter is reset and it increments.Consumed Brains

Grevog has a buff called “Aquatic Protection”, if he’s too close to the water fountains, he won’t take any damage and you’ll see.. “Being too close to one of the fountains causes Grevog the Punisher to become immune to all damage!” you’ll know you’ve taken him a sufficient distance from the fountain when you see.. “No longer being too close to one of the fountains causes Grevog the Punisher to be able to be damaged again!”Aquatic Protection

45 seconds into the encounter (and every 45 seconds after) he will say “Catch!” at which point 3 people in the raid force will get an un-curable elemental detrimental “Flaming Cocktail” (screenshot needed! Always skips me), these 3 people must jump into the fountain before the detrimental expires, if they die with this on them it’s a wipe.

Every 20% (80%, 60%, 40%, 20%) the named will emote “Your fighters are nothing to me, their head crushes so easily under my boot!” immediately followed by “Grevog the Punisher goes berserk! BEWARE, while berserk he can kill fighters with a single touch!” – at which point any tank trying to maintain aggro will die (I’m assuming this eats through immunities like SK Furor, Monk Tsunami, Bob and Weave, Tag Team etc, haven’t actually confirmed!). This lasts for around 35 seconds. When it says “Grevog the Punisher is no longer berserk!” it’s again safe for a tank to snap back.

Taking the above into consideration, this is a fairly straight-forward fight. You can either tank it “as normal” and snap the name onto a designated scout at each 20% mark, or simply stack heals and have a scout tank the name all the way through. Besides that, watch your detriments every 45s and jump into the water fountain if you get the elemental detriment.

The following triggers may be helpful but (like most triggers!) are largely un-necessary unless you’re half asleep.

Trigger to warn you to look at your detriments (if you wanted you could tie this into a 45s timer to warn when the next “Catch!” is incoming..)
